Swannanoa Valley WILD! (SVW) is holding its inaugural chartering ceremony on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain, 7-9 pm – which is also World Wildlife Day! This fundraising event will offer attendees an opportunity to enjoy all sorts of fun and fellowship – live music, light appetizers, guests from NCWF, and plenty of resources about what SVW is doing within our Swannanoa Valley community – now and for the upcoming year. Welcome, everyone! We are so glad you are interested in following our community efforts here in the Swannanoa Valley. This is a newly formed chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, serving the Black Mountain and Swannanoa region. We are officially “up and running,” and are continuing to add information here about all of the programs and efforts that are in store for serving our community’s habitat and wildlife in our valley.
