Reconnecting with Nature through Journaling

Join Swannanoa Valley WILD! Chapter of NCWF in partnership with the Friends of Fox Creek Park as we welcome Carolina Corona for a nature journaling workshop at one of our favorite places in the whole world! Fox Creek Park in Swannanoa.

Reconnecting with the natural world after a disaster can be difficult. We can hold on to fear and even resentment which block our ability to be at peace with nature. Artist Carolina Corona will guide us through various prompts to help us reconnect. Nature Journaling brings us closer to reconnecting and deepening our connection with nature while sharpening our observation and drawing skills. Nature provides us with peace, beauty, and infinite wonder. Reflecting in nature by focusing and recording our observations, thoughts, and experiences is a practice that can bring healing in times of crisis.
