“Thank You, Old Oak” Grow Trail Celebration

Black Mountain Greenways and Trails is leading a community celebration on June 14 from 2-4pm at the Lake Tomahawk pavilion in collaboration with Friends of the Black Mountain Library (FOL), Swannanoa Valley WILD! (our local NCWF Chapter), and the Swannanoa Valley Tree Alliance. We will be planting (and memorializing) an oak tree near the pavilion in honor of the book and grow trail, have vendors set up with information about nature and preservation, and more!
