Wild Neighbors Library Program

Join Swannanoa Valley WILD! in partnership with Friends of the WNC Nature Center as we get WILD at the Swannanoa Public Library. Participants will have the opportunity to meet reptile and amphibian animal ambassadors as we explore the important connection between wildlife and habitat. After our animal ambassador program, we’ll venture to the garden to discuss pollinators, native plants, and maybe even get our hands a little dirty! This is a great opportunity for families with kids ages K – 6th grade.
This event is free and open to the public in an effort to keep these programs accessible. If financially able, we suggest a $10 donation that will go directly toward Swannanoa Valley Wild educational programs and habitat restoration work.
